You’ll receive a handful of sneak peeks shortly after your wedding, followed by your full online gallery within 6 weeks.
FAQs
How far in advance should we book? It’s never too early to get in touch, especially if you have a particular date in mind. I recommend reaching out around 6–12 months before your wedding, although dates can sometimes be available closer to the day too. If you’re already planning your wedding, feel free to enquire and I can let you know what’s available.
Do we need to have everything planned before we enquire? Not at all. You don’t need to have your timeline, locations or every little detail figured out before getting in touch. We can chat through what you have planned so far and work things out from there.
Do we meet before we book? Yes! Before you book, we’ll have a video call so we can chat properly about your wedding, get to know each other a little and make sure we’re the right fit. I think it’s important that you feel comfortable with the person who’ll be around you for so much of your wedding day.
Do you help with the wedding timeline? Absolutely. Once you’ve booked, I’ll help you work out where your photography fits into the day and how much time we’ll need for things like family photos and portraits. I’m not here to take over your whole timeline, but I can help make sure we’re not trying to squeeze everything into five minutes.
What if we're not comfortable having our photos taken? You definitely don't need to be. Most people aren't used to having a camera pointed at them all day, and you don't need to know what to do. I'll give you direction when it's helpful, particularly during portraits, but I won't spend the whole day posing you. A lot of the time, I'll simply let you get on with being together.
Do you take family and group photographs? Yes. We’ll make sure to set aside some time for the important group photographs you want, while keeping things moving so you can get back to your guests. I’ll help organise everyone so you’re not left trying to round up your entire family yourself.
How many photos will we receive? The number of photographs depends on the amount of coverage you choose. As a guide, the 6-hour package includes 400–600 images, the 8-hour package includes 600–800 images, and full-day coverage includes 800+ images. These are estimates rather than a set number, as every wedding and every day unfolds differently.
Do you take lots of candid photographs? Yes. Alongside the important moments and portraits, I’ll be keeping an eye on everything happening around you. Your grandparents watching the ceremony, your friends laughing during dinner, someone tearing up during a speech or everyone losing it on the dance floor. Those little things are often the photographs you didn't know you wanted.
How much direction do you give us? Enough that you won't be standing there wondering what you're supposed to do, but not so much that everything feels staged. I'll guide you through portraits and step in when needed, while leaving plenty of room for the natural moments to happen.
What happens if it rains? We make a plan and go with it. Rain doesn't automatically mean your photographs have to be cancelled or that the whole day needs to change. Depending on your plans and the weather, we can work with it, find sheltered locations or adjust the timing where possible.
Do you travel for weddings? Absolutely. I’m based in Hamilton and photograph weddings throughout South West Victoria and beyond. Travel within my included 100km radius is covered, with additional travel costs applying further afield. If you’re getting married somewhere a little further away, just let me know when you enquire and I can work out the travel cost for you.
Can we add extra hours to our package later? Yes, where availability allows. If you’re unsure which package will work best for your day, we can talk through your timeline during your pre-wedding planning and work out what makes the most sense.
Do you offer a second photographer? If you’re considering a second photographer, let me know when you enquire. Depending on your plans and the size of your wedding, we can discuss whether additional coverage would be useful for your day.
Can we print and share our photos? Absolutely. Your final gallery includes high-resolution images that you can download, print and share with your family and friends.
Do you photograph all kinds of weddings? Absolutely. Whether you're having a big traditional wedding, a tiny backyard ceremony, eloping somewhere special or something completely different, I'm there for it. And yes - all kinds of love are welcome here.
